Weekly Update

Not a lot to report in addition to what is on the public site right now. Do go have a look at Malo's animation there. It is really excellent and the good news is that as a sponsor, you will get access to the version containing animations even if they do not make it into the basic version.

I am in the process of setting up a new friends site and when it is ready, I will be hand creating accounts for all 77 of you and sending passwords to your Offbeatr accounts. By default, I will create names as the same as your Offbeatr ones.

As always, keep in touch. We value your opinions and appreciate the helping hand you have given to the project. :)

Weekly Update

It has been another busy week for everyone. We are currently sorting out some things about how we go on into the future. Rest assured that whatever happens, you, our friends will continue get access to the game and all its updates, including a premium version should we decide to make one.

We may be moving this blog in the next month or two and password protecting it. You will be able to create new accounts so there will be no traceability back to any public identities.

I hope to have more news for you in the next update.

Oh, and do pop by the public blog. There are a couple of new card images there for you to see. :)

Weekly Update

Time is flying and there is so much to do. The art team is making great progress and I am struggling to keep up at the moment. :)

We managed to kick things off with a private donation which has helped us hit the ground running so to speak, but that was going to run out soon. Fortunately the money you pledged through Offbeatr came through this week. :)

When I first registered the project in April, I had no idea that it would take this long to vote, raise pledges and then get the money settled, but we finally have the funding we need to complete.

Survey Results

Thanks to everyone who responded to the survey. The results are below if you want to take a look.

The first question was make or break for locking down the site and with 20% of people not wanting to give account names, we won't be able to proceed with that. We will live with what we have. The blog is set to not show up in search engines so as long as you don't tell ...

Almost everyone wanted to see sample artwork and Malo is working on some right now. You should see something soon.

The Other answer in question 2 was a suggestion to include unused art/deleted scenes on the web site. I like that idea and I will see about putting up a page for that.

Expect to see the additional material grow over time. At this point, I don't want to lose too much momentum from the main development effort.

As we release new versions, I will put up the links to the supporters versions here as well as notify through Offbeatr PM. I will be using 7zip with a password that will be PMed.

Thanks all of you who supported our project with you generous donations. I have been trying to work out the best way to keep you in the loop on what we are doing and give you exclusive access to our work as we do it.

You won't find this blog on any search engines and we will only be giving out the URL to the select few of you who have given us what we need to make Part 2 a reality.

Here you will find exclusive content that you won't find on the public blog including early looks at some the artwork that your donations have paid for.

New release will be announced here first and there will be other content from time to time. If you have any special requests please let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate.

As a taste, here is the first of the alternate cards. These cards will get unlocked as you play the game. I hope you won't find them too distracting.
